We have been supporting the launch of SNOOPY Playful PARK, a new indoor play park themed around SNOOPY, which opened on August 10—SNOOPY’s birthday—at AEON MALL Tsudanuma South in Chiba Prefecture.
The park represents a new type of entertainment destination developed by AEON Entertainment. Located in what can be described as the “front yard” of the AEON Cinema complex, it brings together a play park, café, and retail shop under one unified theme and creative concept.
The PEANUTS brand, home to SNOOPY and beloved worldwide, has been licensed across a wide range of categories. A dedicated play park, however, represents a new development for the brand. This project introduces a new business format and strategic direction, with the potential to expand to multiple locations in the future.
Our support for the project covered a broad range of areas, including area and content planning, operational and staff training guidance, and the production of scenic elements, props, and other physical components.
Our role in theme park and attraction development continues to evolve. Depending on the needs of each project, we now provide a variety of support models—ranging from comprehensive involvement across the entire development process, from upstream planning through to opening and operations, to more focused support at either the strategic planning stage or the implementation stage.
